Mowgli: Locked In A Cage, Will See You on October 19 “Maybe Humans Are the Real Animals”


Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, Nomie Harris, and Serkis are ready to deliver their beautiful voices for the upcoming live-thrill-action-adventurous fantasy movie Mowgli. This real fantasy film is directed by Andy Serkis and scripted by Callie Kloves. The fantasy tale is based on Rudyard kipling “The Jungle Book” the life story of a boy raised by wolves having been adapted to multiple formats. Mowgli casts Rohan Chand, Matthew Rhys and Freida Pinto in leading roles. The film is scheduled to scroll in theatres this October 19 in real d 3d and IMAX 3 D formats.

The story paints the upbringing of the human child Mowgli [played by Rohan Chand] in the jungles of India, by a pack of wolves with much love and care. As he learns all the harsh rules to survive in the jungle, under the valuable guidance of two of his mentors Baloo-the Bear (played by Andy Serkis) and Bagheera-the Panther (played by Christian Bale). Soon with the matter of time, Mowgli becomes accepted by the animals of the jungle as one of their own, but unexcepted by one: the so-called fearsome tiger shere khan (benedict cumberbatch) king of the jungle. But the time is not the same every time soon there’s lot of change occurs Mowgli’s life when he comes face to face with his human origins. Andy Serkis directorial Mowgli was originally set to come out in 2016, but to spend more time on the digital effects and to make experience a real one, Warner Bros decided to wait.

It is important to note, 2016 was the year that Disney’s live-action version of The Jungle Book hit theaters. This was the movie which Disney made exact one with source material “The Jungle Book” in 2016, directed by Jon Favreau featuring voices of Bill Murray, Scarlett Johannsson, and Idris Elba. Dark and Twisted Mowgli has a different cast.
Eventually, Mowgli was darker of the two films, while Jon Favreau’s was more light-hearted. It will be altogether a new venture for Mowgli viewers to see the titular character of the child engaging with wolves and jungle.
